Alex lands and begins her trek in Nepal

So Alex has landed safe and sound, we at Park Accounts are very proud of her and looking forward to seeing how she gets on. We will be adding updates to our blog with pictures and stories from her adventures.

It’s almost 1pm here on a beautiful Monday afternoon we just stopped for a lunch break on our way to Namche Bazaar!

Landed on the mountain in Lukla 2800m yesterday and we trekked through a lush landscape to Phakding where we spent the night.

4 of us are going to Ama Dablam the rest of the team (9) going to climb island peak so it’s a big group but they’re all great (Croatia, serbia, Slovenia) although I don’t understand a shame for thing they talk about but at least they speak english 😉

We’re moving painfully slow but it’s part of the acclimatisation and better take it easy now than suffer later. I’m so tempted though to launch into a run even with a backpack on haha

Namche Bazaar is at 3400m and we’re staying here to acclimatise before moving higher!
